Neoplatonism seemed to have been one of Manly P. Hall’s favorite subjects down through the years, he spoke and wrote about it frequently during his long career.

This book is based upon the five-part audio lecture series Doctrines of Neoplatonism, delivered by Manly Hall in 1983 to students at the Philosophical Research Society. Manly Hall believed Neoplatonism’s simple precepts could enable anyone to live a more philosophic life.

This series includes: Proclus on the Theology of Plato; Iamblicus on the Mysteries; Plotinus on the Beautiful; Porphyry on the Wandering of Ulysses; and Julian on the Mother of the Gods

This electronic e-book edition is fully bookmarked for easy navigation, with a hyper-linked table of contents.

“Education at any age is a lifelong dedication to the improvement of character, and the enlargement of understanding. There is no reason why PRS should not be remembered like Plato’s Academy, but if it is to continue, the society must make use of the most advanced technology available. I now envision a university of the mind, and think that through proper organization we can bring this message of enlightened living to a much greater audience throughout the world.” — Manly Palmer Hall
