The Manly Hall Reading Group
Every Tuesday 7:30 - 9:00 pm in the Bookstore hosted by Amanda Brass
PRS is announcing a new reading group beginning Tuesday, August 1st in the bookstore!
These meetings will be by donation, but no one will be turned away. Attendance can be casual and the environment will be comfortable and informal. There will be intermittent reading out loud followed by group discussions. Participation is strictly voluntary!
To kick off our inaugural meeting, we begin with his 1925 title "Talks to Students on Occult Philosophy" where Manly discusses "do's and don'ts" on the path of illumination.
Every week the group will focus on one chapter. Copies of this pamphlet from 1975 are currently on sale.
Tuesday, August 1st - Part I "A Talk to Students"
Tuesday, August 8th - Part II "Versatility"
Tuesday, August 15th - Part III "The Voice of the Teacher"
Tuesday, August 22nd - Part IV "The Quest of Happiness"
Tuesday, August 29th - Part V "The Invisible Teacher"
