The Revised New Art Tarot: Mysticism and Qabalah in the Knapp-Hall Tarot
Dr. Yolanda Robinson offers us a comprehensive guide to the iconic Knapp-Hall deck of 1929, which was reprinted in 2013. The Revised New Art Tarot marks a period of close collaboration between J. Augustus Knapp and Manly P. Hall, which also included Mr. Knapp's illustrations for Mr. Hall's 1928 encyclopedic masterpiece, "The Secret Teachings of All Ages".
The book assists the reader in understanding the intricate symbols and esoteric traditions that gave birth to this legendary deck while offering suggestions along the way to access individually the magical and transformative energies of Hermeticism and Qabalah through the wisdom of Tarot.
Dr. Yolanda M. Robinson has studied mystical and esoteric traditions for over forty years and is a frequent lecturer, in the United States and abroad, on Qabalah, transformational tarot, and esoteric traditions. She holds an M.A. and Ph.D. from UCLA in Applied Linguistics and Literature. She is a graduate from Builders of the Adytum (B.O.T.A.) and has an M.A. in Transformational Psychology from the University of Philosophical Research.
