"Christmas - The Day When Divine Love Was Made Flesh" - Original Vintage Lecture Note 321
"Because of the way the universe is created, we live in two worlds at the same time and have to adjust to both. Both adjustments are difficult. We have to adjust to a material life in which everything seems to be solid and dense, and experience most things as rather solid and dense. We also have to live in a world in which there are tremendous forces operating that we cannot even see. We have to live in the outer life of our own bodies and the inner life of our own souls. This combination results in a series of extraordinary circumstances that have distinguished human existence from the beginning of time."
