At a certain point in the initiatic trajectory of most esoteric Orders within the Western traditions, we encounter a concealed or ‘inner’ group or order which is explicitly Rosicrucian. This is the case in two of the most foundational and consequently well-known institutions of the Western esoteric traditions: The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, and Freemasonry.
To many modern people, the idea of a lineage or group initiatic system may seem outdated and unnecessary, if not potentially dangerous.
