Contributing Artists

Plain Sight Archive is a non-profit organization dedicated to fundamentally expanding art historical narratives by transforming the archival record. Their innovative online platform links primary source material that is currently hard to see in institutional holdings, illuminating and connecting traditionally obscured figures and creative communities.

By forging pathways of dialogue between institutions, legacy holders, memory workers and other archives, their tool dissolves traditional barriers and offers possibilities for intersection and inclusive collaboration, opening up unprecedented pathways for reimagining and expanding our collective history.

THE PHILOSOPHICAL RESEARCH SOCIETY IS A LOS ANGELES-BASED, 501(c)(3), NONPROFIT CULTURAL INSTITUTION FOUNDED IN 1934 AS A REPOSITORY OF MULTICULTURAL WISDOM SOURCES AND A CENTER OF LEARNING WITH A UNIQUE LIBRARY CONTAINING OVER 30,000 RARE VOLUMES. ITS HISTORIC LANDMARK BUILDINGS ARE OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND PRESENT SEMINARS, CLASSES AND CONCERTS ON PHILOSOPHY, MYTHOLOGY, MYSTICISM, AND THE HUMANITIES.
