Master of Arts in Consciousness Studies
The courses in the Master of Arts in Consciousness Studies provide students with a solid foundational knowledge in the area of consciousness. The Consciousness Studies faculty represents internationally renowned teachers and experts in the theory and practice of ancient and contemporary wisdom disciplines. Each of these brings an integral, cross-disciplinary and cross-cultural perspective to the teaching of their subjects.
To complete a graduate degree in Consciousness Studies a student must complete 51 credits of coursework (17 courses) and a 3 credit thesis. Of the 17 courses at least 13 must be in the area of philosophy (PHI) or Religion (REL) and 4 electives from Psychology (PSY).
Completion of UPR undergraduate programs requires the ability to read, view images and videos, listen to audio materials, type responses on a computer, and think logically. Applicants with disabilities limiting their ability to read, listen, or type should consult with a member of the administration to evaluate their ability to successfully fulfill the requirements of a distance learning curriculum.
